I love Saturdays because our Ms. Stef comes up with the greatest of color inspirations. Today was no exception to her track record! Thanks Stef.
Well, I really loved one particular teal room, but I got rather carried away from my original thought and inspiration in a way...Nutmeg you can understand cant you?
The cats embellishment came from an old Laura Birch summer bag I had. Interestingly, I had no idea for probably the entire summer these were cats. You have to know me to understand my penchant is clearly not for cats, but rather for dogs.
Once someone mentioned that cats, that was it for me - off this thing came. However, today it has a new life - not in my home but for someone who happens to love cats. Yeah, I'm takin' one for the team!
Have a great Saturday everyone. Thanks for taking a look at what cats can do for a card!

Anne, what an awesome card! Would never have thought to take an embellishment from a handbag and put it on a card, lol! But this turned out wonderful! Love it....

Anne - how could you not like those cats, even if you don't like cats in general. And what great paper behind them, with those little fishies. Bet your friend will love the card even if she didn't already like cats.

Anne, I had to laugh about the cats, you wouldn't be caught with the cats on your bag, huh!!!! I love cats, and dogs (and married a man who doesn't want either, then had a son with asthma, hmp), and I really love these cats, and that paper, and your perfectly tied bow!!! And how could I comment without saying, I LOVE the stitching! Great inspiration, Anne, TFS!!!
