I got up early this morning to make this card for a friend I was supposed to have lunch with today. Due to my hubby's scheduling a home delivery without conferring with me first, I had to re-schedule my luncheon. Ugh!!! I'm so glad I checked to see what the challenge is today, this butterfly charm works perfectly with the punched butterflies. The charm was silver to begin with, I wanted to make it gold to match the embossing. I received a package yesterday from Papertrey, Ink with the new gold and silver pens they are carrying from Sakura. They're a must, they have fine tips and the colors are beautiful. I antiqued the charm by first coloring it with the gold pen, then I sponged a little chocolate chip ink on the gold, the metallic ink dries quickly. I'm also combining the challenge with Sharon Johnson's (notimetostamp) challenge featuring Jennifer Buck, one of our newest Dirty Dozen gals.

Beautiful embossing!! I love the black as a counterpoint to the pastels, and the charm is just right!! Lovely card!!
