Last summer, my 28-yr-old cousin Ingrid (who was 7-months pregnant at the time) learned she had stage 3 breast cancer. After having her baby early, followed by surgery, chemo, and radiation, her cancer is now in remission. She has survived.
Her mother (an avid quilter) sponsored me in the CIBC Run for the Cure this year, and I was overwhelmed by her generosity. This card is my way of saying thanks.

This is absolutely incredible. I cannot even imagine having a baby and having to go through all that. You did such a wonderful job on this card. I would love to know how to quilt. This is going into my favorites. I LOVE this and your story. How precious. TFS
