I needed a card to encourage someone who had to evacuate from her home due to Hurricane Ike. And, because SweetNSassy Stamps has presented a September Challenge for Fall themed cards, I decided to use fall colors for this card. I don't have the brand name for the main piece of pattern paper and I can't remember what company it is from. I did use a piece of pattern paper on the main card base that is from a Stampin' Up 6X6 pack, but I don't remember if it is from the current catalog or the previous catalog...sorry, my memory seems to be failing me more and more these days.
For the main image background I used 3 different leaf stamps from the retired SU Gorgeous Grapevine set...inking with 3 different colors, stamping off one time, and then stamping onto the vintage cream cardstock. The verse image was stamped first with Versamark Ink pad, then with Adriondack Espresso Ink. I then covered it with Chocolate Brownie Embossing Powder (and boy did it make me hungry for brownies!) and heat set. I free-handed the border around the main image using my Micron Brown Ink pen.
