I borrowed the latch idea from the cards on this site. The MM papers worked out great with the complementing patterns. The card isn't perfect; I wish I'd had the matching ribbons from MM but, hey, since I was finishing it the night before Mother's Day, I think the ribbon worked out pretty well. (Yes, out of all the spools of ribbon I have, I still need MORE!)

Thanks for all your nice comments! I didn't have a template for this card; I basically just built it around the verse stamp as I knew about how much space I wanted to be around the verse and how much room I'd want for the ribbons. The card ended up being 5.5 in. by 5 inches tall. The border measures a hair over an inch wide with the latch being the same width. The slot is a half inch wide. I hand delivered this card, but if I make another that I want to mail, I would probably change the dimensions to fit in a regular envelope, probably 5x5. Or I guess I could make my own envelope.
