I made this as a second card for Frenchy's FFIF - http://frenchysstampinblog.blogspot....-face-off.html.
I really wanted to do something that incorporated the frill under the cot, and Beate's weekend sketch was perfect for that.
DH likes this one, strange - I thought it was too pink and girly. He's doing well this weekend with cards I don't particularly like and he is free to use whenever he wants, LOL.
My main pink panel is from the rug on the floor. I should have used some texture stamp on it, too late now. I used some deep pink embroidery cotton and stitched along it, then matted it onto a layer of blue and then added punched flowers and brads. The bottom strip is a Fiskars Border punch, put through a crimper. I sponged the edges with green, and then trimmed a piece of shimmer paper to fit behind it.
The top two panels were stamped with a Penny Black Daisy background (it is a Daisy Garden nursery, after all). I'd never have put yellow and pink together, but that was taken from the towel hanging over the cot. I matted them onto blue card, and then added some silver Hodgepodge Hardware (the storage on the shelves) and a sentiment from Lots of Thoughts. Then I assembled the whole lot together. You can't really see, but the brad on the double pink daisy is deep pink with a paler pink flower on it, and the one on the blue flower has little yellow stars on it.
