Fun, fun, fun...howdy, did I ever have fun in Shannon's gallery! Congratulations for being selected todays' Featured Stamper 85! Your gallery is filled with such cheerful, happy cards...I had a great time choosing this card to case...and while I don't have the Inka birdie set YET, I love the layout..so this is my take on your wonderful card...need a sister, Shannon? Neva...I really NEED those birds!
I must admit my layout is an interpretive (read highly off track from Shannon's card) side trip...I was too far into it to change. I do hope you can see the spirit of my case!!!
Cosmo Crickets' wanted paper group is the whole shebang of my card! It is double sided and I made good use of that. My stamps are both from Rubber Stamps of America. I paperpieced Slue-foot Sue's dress...stamping with TH di brushed corduroy and embossing in clear. I sponged behind her with Chalkbox chestnut, creamy brown, and olive. The copper brads are Jo's mini metal assortment. Distressed the mat behine Sue! The Howdy is stamped on Traveling Man (Cosmo Cricket Souvenir). It is a rough lookin' textured like burlap. I fussy cut it free from the paper and staple to the cs . The border was also cut free handed and the circle was cut with the bug/spellbinder. I used the name of the paper to make a tag for sue...WANTED!
I certainly hope I brought you a smile, Shannon! Enjoy your day. Thanks for looking

Wow - this is fantastic - what great cutwork - especially on your Howdy!! The distressed edges give the perfect rustic feel for this charming cowgirl!! Love it!
