I have been a card-maker only for a few years and bought all the scrapbooking albums, papers, supplies I needed over a year ago...
Finally this week I jumped in and started one of the books!! This is my first page, it's one of my favorite photos of my daughter...this 12x12 stuff is a little overwhelming! Hopefully it will get easier???

You did a great job! I love the simplicity, leaving open space really makes this page!

Fabulous page - it does get easier. I have 15 12 x 12 albums that I have done and I just love looking through them from time to time. Once you get going you will really enjoy it...

Wow, I am truly impressed with your first page. Obviously your card making has taught you a lot about design, color and techniques. I love so many elements on your page. The tag, embossing, swirl and photo corner, to name a few. And, I can certainly see why you wanted to scrap that wonderful photo.
Don't know if you ever do the SCS card challenges, but we have scrapbook challenges too--check the Home page if you're interested--they can help make 12x12" of space less daunting sometimes!
