This week's LSC, hosted by dawnmercedes is to design with a technique using *ONLY* paper, ink and stamps. I finished up a card that I started a couple of days ago using the iris fold technique. There is a very user friendly tutorial in the SCS resource thread Iris Twist Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
and also you can google iris fold and find many free templates and tutorials. It's a fun and easy technique that gives spectacular and showy results! I started this card with my CC friend Kathleen - we both enjoyed it because it reminds us of paper pieced quilting!
Thanx for looking!

Wow, am I impressed! This is fabulous, Christine. I am so loving this one for sure. Your iris folding is fabulous inside what looks to be a perfectly framed card. Outstanding!

Neat technique! I had not seen this done before.. gee, it IS like paper piecing with quilting! I could do this for a card for my sister, who quilts. (I quilt too, but quilting is her passion.)
