This card is for Yesterday's - Ways to Use It Challenge, We have been tying everything down for Hurricane Ike. Even though we live about 100 miles from the coast, we are expecting 70 to 100 miles per hour wind... We have farm animals so we need to keep them safe. So now I have a few hours to stamp before we find out exactly where this bad boy is going.... And I do mean BAD.... Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the people who have left their homes and most of their belongings to escape Ike's path...
So here is what I did...
I started out with Baja Breeze CS then I layered DCWV DP added Baja Breeze ribbon down the center. The next layer is Certain Celery on Basic Black. The certain Celery layer I stamped Priceless randomly around the edges. I used my white gel pen to add highlights. The Top layer I stamped sentiment on Certainly Celery and Basis Black, popped this layer up. The flowers are from Priceless, also, highlighted with the white gel pen. Added White brads in the center. I popped two of them up on pop dots. The Butterfly is stamped with Versamark and embossed with black. I colored around the edges with the white gel pen. I cut it out and attached just in the middle and folded up to look like it's flying. I added leaves, ribbon, and doodled around all of the edges with black and/or white.. TFL
