I just got this Christmas Cupcake set that has just be released and can be found at TREEHOUSE STAMP COMPANY. So this is for Today's LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLENGE - Simple where I used my white jel pen to create a faux embossed look and limited supplies to ink, paper, ribbon, nad punches. This is also for Thursday's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE - White Jel Pen that I did not get to do before having to be at work, Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE that I loved so had to do another, and I used Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE - Gray RidingHood Galore since I also just got my new SU In-Color inks and paper. WOW what a weekend this has ended up being. So much new stuff I don't know where to start. LOL. I stamped the cupcake on vanilla, then on shimmer cream cs that I won in a blog candy drawing from Linsey. Which was so cool bc I never win anything. I cut the icing layer out of the shimmer cs. I stamped tone on tone for the berries and holly then cut them out. Adhered the berries on the shimmer toping and the holly on the vanilla cs image. I colored the bottom of the cupcake w/prismacolor pencils then blended w/gamsol. I added small dots in the top of the berries and down the middle of the holly with my white jel pen for accent. The cream shimmer topping is popped up on the vanilla image. I used some ribbon I bought way last year that is a close match to riding hood red. I stamped the small holly & berry image on white 3 times, cut them out and popped them up on the end of the ribbons. The sentiment was stamped in riding hood red and green galore. Hope ya like it.
