I made this card for daily challenge #WT183 in which we were asked to use white gel pens on a card.
I have never had much luck with white gel pensÂ… I LOVE them, but they donÂ’t love me. They dry up, either as IÂ’m about to start a project or even worse, right in the middle of it. Today was no exceptionÂ…. My gel pen made about 15 quilting stitches before it gave up the ghost... and of course, I had to pull everything off the CS and start again.
So I have a confession to makeÂ… the quilt stitches on this card are done with white colored pencil, which I have found to be a good substitute when my gel pen doesnÂ’t come through for me. And yes, those little white grid-like lines, which look more like graph paper and less like quilting stitches, are done with white pencil.

So cute - love all the panels and dots and doodles. I have the same problem with gel pens, don't have much luck with them. To finish my project today, I had to use 3!

Fun card! I like the green with the black and white. I forgot that white pencils can be more forgiving than gel pens! Next time mine gel pen misbehaves, I can tell it to cooperate since I don't _have_ to use it. ;)
