This is for SC193 and decided to try my hand at the faux dry embossing again. I opened my paper drawer and this fun lavender and green checked piece was sitting near the top and I decided to go with it. I wanted to do evergreen trees but thought it would be fun to do them on a non traditional tree colored cardstock. I used a small evergreen from Kittie Kits The Moose is Loose and stamped with white craft ink on Lavender Lace paper. I stamped again using the stamp-a-ma-jig with Lavender Lace ink and didn't think it showed up well enough so I stamped over again with Elegant Eppplant. I love the effect. I used a one of the snad dune images from the Kittie Kits Beach master to create the falling snow and the ground snow. I think the scene looks cute over the country dp and didn't want to add lots of embellishment to take away so just used the Lavender paper for the three strips. I small green gingham ribbon was the perfect touch for this card. Simple and fast tonight as my husband gets home early and I want to spend the evening with him. He usually oesn't get home until 9:15.

What a PERFECT name for this card. It looks just like a snow at twilight--I can almost "hear" the snow fall!! AMAZING!
Your accents are lovely, too. That gingham with the plaid is beautiful!!
