I tried to do yesterday's technique on some acetate that was a little too thick to emboss. So what was I going to do with this acetate with gold, green and orange? Of course make a Cindy's (Mothermark) Teapot Tuesday #11 card.
You can see her challenge here: Teapot Tuesday #11 by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
I cut the pieces of the acetate out and glued them to black cardstock. I tried to incorporate the scalloped edges. I had a piece of striped dp on my desk that was similar to the stripes at the top of the teapot. I made my leaves by folding green cardstock in half and cutting the leaves freehand. I sent the leaves through my crimper. The tendrils I made by cutting stripes of the green cardstock and using my quilling tool I twisted it. I had some little gold flower sequins. I added gold star brads. The background paper was tan with off white polka dots. It reminded me of the dots on the teapot. I ran out of room to add the row of leaves. Maybe they will have to go on the envelope!! Let me know what you think.
