This card is for the color challenge to use Going Gray, Riding Hood Red and Green Galore, CC183.
As Mothermark says, here is my story. I have fiddled with this card all morning. I really like Going Gray and Riding Hood Red but Green Galore is another story. I also have had the Doodle This set for a loooong time and I don't think I have ever used it. I have liked it when others have made cards with it but just had not been able to bring myself to use it so I decided today was the day. I stamped the flowers on white with going gray, embossed them with detail clear embossing powder and painted them with Riding Hood Red reinker using the aquapainter and a watercolor brush. I cut them out and poped them up on dimensionals. The sentiment is also embossed with clear detail embossing powder and then the background stamped with canvas.
I sponged basic gray on the layers because I was trying to camouflage the Green Galore. It's funny because this ribbon has a green on the edges that matches the green galore and I love the ribbon, the red is also a good match for the red.
