I made this card for vjwhitehead's Oriental swap, and I'm really happy with the result - I hope the recipients like them! The cards are much prettier IRL.
I love the Far East DP and sheer, shimmery gold paper I found at Michaels. I wasn't pleased with my attempt at making faux metal coins (they are in the foreground), so I used a stencil with brown marker and Crystal Effects to make the peace symbol and popped it up with dimensionals. The edges of the ruby and chocolate cardstock were 'scraped' with a metallic inkpad, and the DP squares were sponged with chocolate chip. I finished by adding an antique gold butterfly charm.
Thanks for looking!
