With this challange I immediately thought of my sister Gael. She is the Chicken Lady. So this card is for her. I did the main chicken image with copics and then cut out. I colored it to look like a special designer chicken called the Belgian Bantam.
The River Rock bottom was intended to look like the little pebbles a chicken might walk on out in the yard. And the red DP was with the thought of looking like an old painted farmhouse kitchen with some of the paint peeling. The upper right is a chipboard corner colored with copics and the 6 dots are ones I just got from stamping bella. Tell me what you think! Please - even if you have suggestions of what I could have done better. Thanks for looking!

I love this rooster! Banties are my favorites....my husband is sort of like a banty rooster. LOL:p
Really the colors are beautiful. And as an oil painting instructor I can say that the use of color in tasteful repetition to bring the design together is very well done.
