First in a series of (?). My buddy Virg (Virg001) and I have been scheming for a way to raise funds to provide postage to the volunteers who support the Chemo Angels. These cards will be donated for 'donations' to pay for postage.
One special thing about this card, is that all the paper and envelopes were donated. If you would like to know more about the Chemo Angels, and support kids (and adults) going thru treatment by sending encouraging cards, please see this link.

These are great! The combination of the stamped image, ribbon and embossed base is perfect! God Bless you for giving your time and talent to a wonderful cause!

Oh Pat! This is so darling and such a wonderful idea! You and Virg really are a blessing and an encouragement to all of us who volunteer with this and other similar organizations! Thank you so much for your giving heart! I know the cards are a much needed lift for the sick kids and their families, too. Bless you. LYMI

That's what Pat Smethers does. GIVE FROM THE HEART! Although me and Gunner were never blessed with children, I've seen families go through illnesses with their children. Some recovered, some didn't. Its very hard to stay strong for someone who depends on you and you want to crumble because they are your world. I'm going to check out this web site. I've got an idea to do this for my neighborhood. I'll let you know how it goes.
