Every Book Needs a Cover-
Hi there, I am kindof working backwards as I just found an album for my husband's race pages. I have already posted the race pages and last night I just finished up the cover. It sometimes is hard for me to come up with pages that don't involve any pictures. I could go on all day coming up with words that describe how proud I am of my hubby and all his hard work, but I wanted to keep it simple, yet make a statement. I think I achieved the look I was going for. One of my most favorite things about this page was working with "White Core" cardstock, I can't recall ever doing this before. When my girlfriend and I were at the GRSExpo this year, I entered in a drawing and won a bunch of "Close to my Heart" stuff. I have never used any of these products before(being a SU Demo), but I will say their paper was mega fun to work with. The right side of blue is the CTMH plain cardstock-and to achieve this patterened paper look I simply scored the paper every 1/2 in. and then when it was all finished I ran a piece of sandpaper over it lightly and Viola! So Easy and I really think it turned out cute-Don't You? Happy Friday Everyone! Visit my blog for more inspiration:http://cutitupcreations.blogspot.com/
