I think I've had this silver paper in my stash since 2001. Thanks Julia for giving me the courage and incentive to get it out and cut it up! I used versamark and silver EP with the jumbo snowflake wheel to create the background paper. I layered the pieces onto black and added dots with my silver marker. My crop-a-dile got a workout with the eyelets in the corners and I strung some silver cording through. I made a faux metal tag with the snowflake from In the Spotlight and stamped the sentiment with black stazon.
The hardest part of making this card was photographing it... this much silver does not play nice with my camera!
thanks for looking!

A beauty! Worth the hard work and the photo turned out great. Love the embossing and cording. Lovely card.

Actually I think the photo is great! It really shows the shimmer and richness of this card! Love the snowflakes... the layering on black was the perfect way to set off the silver. Love the tag too!

That silver embossing on the beautiful silver paper really looks gorgeous! I like the bit of black and the cord in the eyelets as well as your hanging ornament!

LOL at your description! I totally agree ... sometimes the best stuff is the hardest to photograph! Great card ... thanks for busting into your 'stash'!
