Today we were to use "specialty" paper with glitter or flocking or whatever, just something special that we have had for a long time and not used. Well, I don't really have specialty paper, but I do have a crazy imagination! LOL So, here is my specialty paper of the day.....details......
For my bg I took saran wrap, crumbled it up and sponged Stazon mustard all around. Then I poured clear ep over it, shook it off and heated it up. After that I brayered bashful blue over top. I added a few black dots using acrylic paint and my stylus. When they were dy, I put a tiny dot of white paint on top of them.
For my image, I stamped it using versa mark, embossing it with black detail ep. I colored my image with Faber-Castell Artist Pens. Punched out the corners and sponged the edges.
For the next layer, I just sponged whited cs with mustard on the edges and doodled. The next layer was white cs, sponged edges with black. Put these three layers together and added the black brads that I put a dot of white paint on the match the bg.
Put my homemade specialty bg on a white card that I sponged with mustard and doodled the edges. I popped up my main image panel and then I added my homemade bow! That's right, this is my homemade bow times three! I have made three bows this week. I am on a roll! Yeah me!
Well, there you have it. IRL this card has a sparkle to it. Thanks for taking the time to view my card and thanks for any comment you might leave!!! TFL :0)

Awesome idea. You have created a new technique. This looks great. Love the way you added the bow. It is in just the right spot. Great coloring on your main image. I am helping plant sunflowers tomorrow at my son's school. I was wishing I had a sunflower stamp today to thank his teacher. TFS. This is cool.

Nutmeg, now where the heck did this concept come from? Where ever, it's totally special. your own dp....you'd better call K&co/daisy d's and the rest of all those huge players - they need to see what you can do with a busted up hand no less! Got your pm. Thanks so much. You're just the sweetest. Next trip to Sacramento, and you're on the list! I love today's card, girl. The trademark doodling is fantastic girl, plus that image - oh my, how wonderfully sweet is that.
Yes, Chris has been posting even as of today. I'm wondering if she's more involved in that than here. Heal well my sweet friend. Hugs to the lady with the grey hair and blue rinse!
