This is the second card I've tried the Black Magic technique on. (At first, it seemed sacrilegious to use "Black Magic" on the cross. But then I thought how wonderfully it illustrates how the Light has overcome the darkness!) Though simple, I thought it turned out nice; it draws ones eyes to the cross, with the light source seeming to come from the upper left.

This is just such an inspirational card! How fitting, to turn "Black Magic" into something that is Godly and good! I would never have thought of this, but I just might have to borrow your idea with some changes!!!!

WOW !!! This is absolutely stunning! I understand what you mean by the 'technique' title, but I agree with your interpretation. Thanks so much for sharing. I will definitely be casing this one ... many times!!

This card is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! I love the irony of using black magic on the cross...and you're right..it does keep one's eyes on the cross (like they should be!!) I was looking for something for a sympathy card and this will fit perfectly...BUT I can't find the "Black Magic" technique. would you mind emailing it to me so I can try it on my sympathy card? or telling me where to find it?? email [email protected]! Thank you so much.

I love your card!! I would love to try it myself, but I am not familiar with the "Black Magic" technique. I looked but could not find it here. Would it be possible to email me the technique, or possibly lead me in the right direction to find it? My email is [email protected]. Thank you so much. I can't wait to try it!
