I made this card for a quilt retreat I am going to in a couple of weeks. I completely cased this card from Michelle Wooderson - she has it on the Papertrey Ink Forum website - here is the link http://forum.papertreyink.com/forum/...2_itemId=23092
I will be teaching the ladies how to make this card. I coloured the quilt block with SU markers. Layered with old olive and chocolate chip. Punched out the pink label and inked edges. I cut 12 one inch squares out of different paper and then assembled them at the bottom and stitched around edges. added the ribbon and buttons. Inked edges with chocolate chip.

what a beauty, Patricia! I love the papers, but it's the buttons and threads that really add so much structure to your card! love the little pink blossom button nestled between the squares...you attention to these small touches is what I admire and love about your art!

This is just beautiful! I really wish that I quilted, although I think these papercrafted ones might be quicker for me! :-) I really love all the details, the buttons are such a perfect addition. TFS
