After making my first card today, and just loving this technique, I made another one. I made this one for my friend Diane whose father just died. She lost both parents in one years time. This is one of the times that I don't know what to say except that I am thinking about her.

MariLynn, Another beautiful card and I know your friend will appreciate it. No matter...what keep talking. Eight years ago I lost my parents and my husband within a 4 1/2 month time period. Many of my friends quit talking because they just didn't know what to say anymore. It was the loneliest period of my life...keep talking.

Oh MariLynn, I love what I see here! I just sense a card created with such feeling! It's a fantastic card for such a sad occasion. Love the colors and that flower. It just has such a personal and caring touch. This is really fantastic.
