Have you ever imagined a card and it turned out exactly how you planned? That rarely happens for me, but this time, I'm very pleased with the results!
The SU Stitched background was run through the cuttlebug with an embossing folder then re-run UNDER the embossing folder to flatten. I wanted a quilted texture, but not too overwhelming.
Gave the scissors a metallic look with a silver leafing pen. Added a tiny brad for the screw.
The "thread" is embroidery floss.
Thank you for taking a look!

I don't do much quilting since I discovered stamping, but I still have friends who quilt. This card would be perfect to CASE and send to them. What a wonderful idea!

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.

Lovely card, I like the colors you picked. What a nice layout and the stitching is a wonderful addition to the card. I like the way you used the fiber with the spool. Nice work.
