We're playing "over the edge" in the Crafty Secrets member forum challenge this week, all the details are here - why not come join the fun if you have Crafty Secrets or Heartwarming Vintage toys to play with?
I've got two 'over the edge' elements here - the Eiffel Tower was stamped over a pencil line that marked where the fold would come and then cut with a craft blade so that it pops up when the card is folded.
The little 'bonjour' note that makes the second 'over the edge' element is what makes this a secret love note. If you pull the note out of the ribbon, the reverse side holds the confession "je t'aime".
Supplies: French Mail (Clear Art Stamps by Crafty Secrets), Barbador Script (Ma Vinci's Reliquary), Versafine Onyx Black and Vintage Sepia, Tim Holtz Distress ink Antique Linen, 1" silk ribbon

This is great Joanne ... guess I should have looked at this card before venturing onto making mine ... I don't think I got the challenge 'quite' right!! Very nicely done and again, very clever!!
Great card! Love what you did with Eiffel Tower and the ribbon is beautiful ! Thanks for not making us go "over the edge" with this last challenge for August : )

You know from the top of that tower you can see everything!
I love how it peeks over the edge.
Love the warm and yet soft feel you achieved.
Another great challenge Joanne!

Oh, how cute! I love this! I love the background, how the tip of the Eifel Tower hangs over the edge, that beautiful ribbon, and of course...the secret love note!

This card has it all...beauty, intrigue, whimsey, soft colors, romantic location, and a cute guy with few clothes....what more could you want.
Seriously this is lovely!
