Since I colored so man of these images over the past few days, I thought I'd do a side by side comparision of the different coloring techniques I used.
Top left: This one was colored using Caran D'Ache watercolor pencils with an aqua painter. I used Twinkling H2Os for shading and a white gel pen for highlights. This was done on 140 lb. watercolor paper.
Top right: This was the first time I tried 100% paper piecing an image. It took a really long time, but I like the way it turned out. I used all SU paper for this (his clothes are from the Wintergreen DP) and it was glued on shimmery white paper.
Bottom: This completed card was colored using Copic markers and a white gel pen for highlights. I added sparkle to the star with stickles. More info on this card in my gallery.
