The pictures in this layout are of my oldest son playing in the leaves at our old house. He is 1 1/2 here. Today I sent him off on the bus for his first day of second grade! I find myself wondering where all of the time has gone! I always am an emotional wreck on the first day of school, but not until later in the day! So I had to drag out some baby and toddler photos of him today! Thanks for listening to a mushy mother reminisce!
The DP, title, and die cut embellies are from daisyd's Gypsy Harvest line. The scallop edge is Tangerine Tango (SU). The journaling reads:
You had so much fun playing in the leaves.
Your laugh, smile, the smell of autumn-
I remember this day like it was yesterday.
TFL!

Nice page. I love all the color. I must be the only mother in the world who looks forward to sending my kids back to school. I'm starting to feel guilty that everyone has such a hard time with it and I don't. Oh well.

Adorable! These are great photos for the sketch. I really like the colors you chose! I don't have any "words of wisdom" on sending them off to school & missing them. Just enjoy every moment you can...this year, my oldest son is a Senior so it was very emotional "1st Day" of school for me as well!

Emily, I *love* seeing all your album pages of your kidlets. You take great photos and find such creative ways to use them. I like pages with multiple photos on them like you do too.
I sent my 'little boy' off for his 3rd year of college this week and no, I have no idea where the time went either! I think as a mom we always remember them all like they were yesterday!
