This is my version of the apron Shelli wore at convention. I cut out the pieces and my daughter sewed it all together. It's not perfect, but sure is pretty, IMO.
I used the SU Exclusive Baskets & Blooms and the Pennants & Scallops Bigz Dies for the Big Shot.

Every minute you invested in this project was worth it as this is so BEAUTIFUL! I bet you could sell a boat load of these for a very pretty penny. Shelli would be proud. TFS

Thank you all for your kind comments.
It doesn't seem heavy at all. I don't think it will be too hot to wear, I'll let you know after my workshop on Saturday, since I will be wearing it then.
I purchased 2 yards of 6 different fabrics, 5 with a print and 1 solid for the base. I still have probably 1-1.5 yards left of every one. So it really didn't take much fabric at all. I'm sure I have plenty to make a second apron.

Yep, that's a real Longhorn! A friend tells me they grow them down here.

It really was easy. If you can sew a straight line you can do this. There weren't any special sewing tricks to it all.
