I had some fun the other day with an old book I bought for 50 cents. I tore out some pages and had fun just dry brushing some acrylics on top of the text. After it dried I pressed them under some books to flatten completely. VERY cheap and one of a kind paper. Plus I still have most of the book to use in future projects!

Very, very pretty!! I bought an old book at the thrift shop some time ago to use on some cards- haven't done anything with it yet. You've inspired me! Plus I love that bird stamp.

I like the effect of how you make your background paper. That was a smart idea. The coloring of the stamped image is just beautiful. the embossed panel is the perfect touch. TFS!
