This is for the VSN Pride and Prejudice Challenge. We were supposed to use felt or flocking on our cards, but as I don't have any felt or flocking, I decided that some velvet would be suitable for Pride and Prejudice, too...
It's been a VEEEERY long time since I "stamped" on velvet, so today it was time for a revival of this wonderful and easy technique: just lay your wood-mounted rubber stamp (I never tried this technique with unmounted or clear stamps, I don't know if they would work) on the wooden side. Then position the velvet onto the rubber side of the stamp, position a craft sheet over the velvet and then iron over the whole stack on a pretty high temperature setting (I used the cotton setting). Ready, that's all.
I added some punch-out flowers and brads, a ribbon and a rub-on sentiment (didn't have a minute left from my 45 minutes, so the rub-on was the fastest solution, LOL!).

What a fabulous idea, Christianne! I do have velvet, but most of my stamps are acrylic! Hope your husband is doing well and his infection was Rx successfully. I know this has been a long hard road for both of you.

Oh, velvet definitely counts! Beautiful, just beautiful! Thank you so much for playing!
