The first thing I did, was swipe some Distress Pads on my craft sheet, misted it with water, and swiped a piece of white cardstock through it. I added more color by blending in the different inks from the edges of paper. After my color was down, I misted it again with water and then ironed it with an old steam iron I have started to use in my crafting. Of course, I did turn off the steam – donÂ’t use steam! After it was dry, I scored 1″ squares using my new Scor-Pal and then stamped my images. French Script was first, the ferns second and then the silhouette. After all the stamping was done, I gave the entire panel a light misting of Scattered Straw Reinker/Gold Perfect Pearls/Water mixture (“pearlized-distress” mist).

This is absolutely gorgeous! I think you're going to have us a tutorial on how to use our old irons in stamping. Might as well have a purpose for that appliance that no one uses anymore.
