Emma loves this set and would not make a paper clip style bookmark. She wanted this kind.
I tied the ribbon, cut the strip of paper (it was a scrap) and punched the horizontal slot for her. She did the scallop punch, chose colors and stamped.

Emma, just between you and me, I like this kind of bookmark better! It's better for your books, too--doesn't tear the pages and lays nice and flat. Your monkeys are wonderful. Are you familiar with the Curious George books? This reminds me of that.

Emma, I love this bookmark! You picked such wonderful colors. And those monkeys are in just the right position to get those bananas. They look like 2 great buddies getting into trouble.
