I needed to make a birthday card for my brother-in-law, and wanted to do this challenge (to use stamps and supplies you haven't used in a looooong time). As I was looking around my craft room, my eyes settled on Index - Close to Nature by galleryindex at Splitcoaststampers, which I still have here in my stash. (OK, I'm a pack rat.) So I decided to use the Close to Nature set. After the flower in that set, I like the pinecone best, and decided to stamp that image 4 times. I've admired several other cards in the Close to Nature gallery that did that, and I admit I got some inspiration from them too.
Anyway... I don't remember using Garden Green since I made my Christmas cards in 2006. The brown mat is from a Bazzill "Jungle Fever" cardstock pack that I received as a RAK about 4 years ago. It's been a long time since I've used my watercolor pencils, too.
I wavered on adding piercing to this card, but then I decided against it. I figure my brother-in-law is probably going to throw it away after his birthday, anyway.
Thanks for looking! Comments are always welcome.

I forgot all about this stamp - now I'm going to have to dig it out! I love the sketch you came up with -- the pinecones look so good the way you've oriented them! Love this card!
