What a great challenge! As I was looking thru my long unused images and supplies I had to wonder why I hadn't used them in so long. I guess it's like everything else; new is more exciting. Thanks, Taylor, for reminding me that older stuff is just as much fun. Edit: just realized I must have subliminally done the WT challenge from yesterday w/ the tearing and distressing.
The image was stamped w/ coal ink and various colors of the water soluble oil pastels were scribbled onto the image then blended w/ the water brush. It was cut out and attached w/ foam tape to a tan panel that was stamped w/ the tea dye ink and the edges were distressed w/ a pair of scissors.
The hunter panel also has distressed edges. The bottom strip was torn. I attached this to a panel of the dp then sewed the pieces back together w/ metallic gold thread. The dots all around were done w/ a gold gel pen. TFL

so glad to see you back, Julie. i think this is a beautiful card. Love that image and I am totally crazy about that stitching and torn edges. You wont believe this, but the card to Ginny finally went into the mail just tonight! I know....the card's in the mail, but this time, it really is in the mail. Hope everything was just great while you were there.
