When I saw today's sketch I just knew it would be perfect for a dahlia fold.
The card is a 5.5" square, and I used a 1.5" circle punch for the pieces of the dahlia. I tried really hard to make all of the pieces folded just right so that the stripes would create a star pattern in the dahlia. I couldn't find my circle cutter so I had to had cut the sage shadow and bali breeze layers around the dahlia so they are not perfect. I traced around then with my silver pen to try to disguise is, but I think it makes it more obvious. Oh well.
I had fun with this... great sketch!
thanks for looking!

I so don't have the patience for these folds. You've shown me I should give it another chance. Great color choice and you're right - the Dahlia fold IS perfect for this challenge.
