I made one card without embossing the silhouette image, but wanted to see how it would look embossed. I'm happy to report that I like them both...LOL! I'm a huge fan of Zindorf's work and kept her tutorials in mind when I made this card.
To create my scene, I stamped the image with Basic Black ink onto Whisper White cs and then used my VersaMarker to color over the entire image so it could be embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. I then sponged So Saffron ink across the cs with a sponge. I punched out a 1 1/4" circle on a Post-It Note for my moon and sponged Really Rust along the top two-thirds and the very bottom. Then I sponged on Bravo Burgundy across the top and bottom.
My card base is Really Rust layered with So Saffron. I used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig for the sentiment and hid the seam with black ric rac.
