I was fascinated by Patty Bennett's awesome sunflower card (oops...don't have her link) and decided to try it for myself. I didn't have brown polka dot DP so used an itty bitty BG stamp using white on chocolate chip for the flower center. Olive CS was scored & folded, the leaves cut free hand. Then they were run on a diagonal slant through the crimper.

Great job. I wouldn't have thought of using the crimper to do the veining on the leaves. Good thinking. I'll have to remember to do that. Love the colors and the composition.

So very pretty!! I was trying to figure out what the swirl was when I read that it was a build a brad--is that swirl a stamp or did you do it free hand?? It looks so cool in the picture like a bead or something--but I was sure a bead that big would not work on a card. Any way.....love your card!!!
