This has been the longest day trying to upload to SCS! Four hours it took to upload my first one! After loosing it so many time, forgive me if my recipe is short!
Jessica, this one does not do your great card justice, but I'm uploading it anyway, because I do love the little image itself. But my layout does not work like yours because the orientation was not right for this case. Sorry gf! Your's is adorable!
I was drawn to the image of two kitties side by side and wanted to use my D Morgan stamp, but the whole stamp which includes a great sentiment, was too big to use with this sketch. So I cut out the image part of it and matted it like Jessica, except not with nesties. I used the same basic layout but with a lot of changes in detail. I'm not liking all the horizontal lines here, but the image didn't look right coming down over the ribbon, nor did it look right with the card flipped on it's side. So.... this is what I got.
I was happy with my progress with Copics, though. I bought a few more colors which enabled me to do much better shading and I'm beginning to like using them now. The rest of the card is self explanatory.
Jessica, I did one today that I love, and this one, which I don't, but I DO love your entire gallery! Thanks so much for letting us all play today!
Thanks for looking everyone!

This is the most awesome card ever!!! I know that print by D Morgan and have wanted it for many years but just never got it for some reason. I have several of her other prints, mostly shell and sea, and I love all of her work. You have done a fantabulous job on this....from the coloring, the layout of the card itself, the photo corners (embossed yet) are awesome. The bg paper is to die for. What a wonderful job you did on the case!!! Sorry you had so much trouble uploading, though. I know how that goes sometimes. It is taking me a while to get things uploaded while I'm at the beach because we have dial-up here (grrrrrrrrrrrr) and it is sooooooooooooo slow! Tomorrow will be better, hopefully!!!

Great combination of textures and patterns. Wow, you stamped on the ribbon; that is so cool!
