This was a fun challenge as I adore working with markers. I've used ChartPak markers for years and really enjoy their blending qualities over Prismacolor. I would probably enjoy the copics as well; however, I have small fortune invested in my ChartPaks and they're much less expensive than copics.
anyways... I saw this [www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/985390 flower created from a 5-petal punch by Stacey (Stampalooza) and have been wanting to try it since. She has a tutorial if you want to try it out!!
I punched a bunch of flowers on white cardstock. First I colored them all over with my Banana marker, then edged them with my Aqua marker. I added some dots with my Pure Pink Zig marker, then more dots with a white Signo pen.
The background panel is some very old DP that had just seemed to fit with the flower. I edged it with the aqua marker and doodles with the pink marker.
The sentiment {by Studio G} was stamped in Positively Pink, then more edging and doodling. Most times I like how these markers bleed and blend on cardstock, but I wanted a crisp aqua border for the sentiment, so I edged a layer of white and put it below.
It still felt like it was missing something, so I created a couple butterflies from the 5-petal punch and doodled some more. I added some beads for bodies.
I hope you like it! Thanks for looking.
