I love this card!!! I have tried to get the directions from the link above and havent been able to pull anything up...is there a way you can email it to me?
Thank you so much! I just love this card!!!
Not everyone can pull up the link I posted. Here are the directions listed on the site:
Supplies:
2 sheets of parchment paper (baking paper from the grocery store) about 8 1/2 by 11.
1 piece of plastic kitchen wrap about 8 1/2 by 11.
A piece of cardstock if you just want to layer it on your card top or a piece of cardstock folded to card size of your choice.
Patterned tissue paper (they make lots and lots of beautiful patterned tissue paper these days).
Iron and ironing board.
Instructions:
Place one sheet of the parchment paper on your ironing board or any hard surface.
Then place your piece of cardstock or folded cardstock on top of the parchment paper.
Place the plastic wrap on top of the cardstock.
Cut the tissue paper a couple of inches bigger than the cardstock or folded card on all sides.
Wad the tissue paper tightly into a ball.
Carefully smooth out the tissue paper being careful not to tear it.
Place the tissue right side up on top of the plastic wrap.
Place the other piece of parchment paper on top of the tissue.
Iron with a very hot iron until the plastic wrap is melted and the tissue is firmly adhered.
Trim the excess plastic wrap and tissue paper from all sides of the folded cardstock or trim the piece of cardstock to the size you want for your layering.
You will have a nice textured background which is a fun change from the traditional scrapbook papers you can buy.
Finish your card top with stamped images or other embellishments.
Gosh, I hope this isn't infringing on any copyrights or anything! :o)
