Thank you Roxie for keeping us in bounds...I'm one, I know, that tends to 'sketch outside the lines'!!! I think this card will not have the posse out...though I did make the main image layer smaller to fit where I was going!
I'm really into reflections right now and this image from Diva Impressions titled 'A Perfect View' needed to be inked tonight! I used acetate and Stazon for I wanted to paper piece the sky, water, and deck. I used Cosmo Cricket's chicken little paper again for the sky and water. The tree line on the image is colored with Copics. The deck is Paper Pizazz barnwood which I ran through the bug using the distressed stripes embossing folder. If you look closely, you'll see a knot in the wood. The middle layer is stamped with random, unknown tree unmounted stamps from my local craftsman. I used Adirondack espresso and latte inks. The paper is from MME 29th ST Market ( the back of the scruffy star paper. I ran it through the Fiskar paper crimper. The card base is SU wild wasabi which I stamped the word REFLECT in espresso directly onto the cs. I used an acorn, again unmounted, unknown inked in Adirondack meadow ink at the corner...stamping off the paper also. They were cut and the brown mat slipped in. I used two bits of coarse fiber to add interest at the top.
I would love to have a spot such as this to sit and reflect all the things my mind is processing these days. It would be quiet, so still, I could hear myself THINK! So tell me what are you thinking these days...pull up a chair, I've got time to listen...

Awwww, the soul does wax reflective, does it not? We all need to take more time to stop and reflect; today's world is in too much of a hurry. I would love to pull up a chair and chat with you, Susan. I can remember in my early 20s where there seemed to be more hours in the day, and I would sit on my porch step, reflect, and write poetry. I don't take the time to do that anymore, which is sad. Thank you for sharing another of your inspirational creations. I love this peaceful scene!
