This is a birthday card for my grand-father-in-law who is turning 95!! He is amazing--still lives on his own, drives, raises peacocks & hens and bird watches from his big picture window. I though this new folder I got would be perfect for him and the colors have a rich manly feel to them. So here you have my card for today's color challenge:
Taken with Teal
Old Olive
Elegant Eggplant
The teal was brayered onto my folder and then run through the CB onto old olive for the reverse ink affect. My bird was created by running a pice of EE through the CB and then cutting it out and glueing into place. My moon is bleached out using a circle stamp and soft scrub. My sentiement is from Birthday Whimsy by Stampin Up and attached using HP hardware.
Have a great Tuesday everyone!!

Absolutely gorgeous, all of it is perfect and so stricking to look at. Your DGFIL will treasure I'm sure and good for him. To be able to still do all for himself, that is wonderful.

This is a fabulous card! I like your technique with the brayer and folder. And the soft scrub is interesting too. Never heard of bleaching except with liquid bleach. I will have to try that one too. Thanks for sharing your techniques. It all turned out beautiful.
