Our whole family is taking a short road trip (2 hours) to go visit my in-laws and we'll take them out to lunch for my MIL's 92nd birthday. Happily, my MIL is still quite with-it and will enjoy the day thoroughly. My FIL, unfortunately, will be very confused, however, and overwhelmed by all these family members he used to know and doesn't anymore... But this will absolutely make my MIL's day and she'll get to meet her great-granddaughter for the first time! She absolutely loves flowers and was a great gardener before she went into the nursing home. So I thought this would be a good card for her. This was inspired by Lisa S - the faux embossing of the "grasses" - stamp in mellow moss, then use your SAMJ and move it a hair to the right and stamp again in White Craft Ink. I inked up the flower image with markers - except the black part of the coneflower was done with a sponge dauber in black ink, like they showed us at Convention. Thanks for looking!

This is really gorgeous and a set which is on my wishlist! I'm sure your MIL will love the card, family and being taken out for lunch! Happy Birthday to her!

I love your Echinaceas! They double well as Black Eyed Susans but ask your MIL if we're right thinking they are Cone flowers...and pink in hue! Hope you have a wonderful Birthday celebration!
I love the faux embossing, too.
