Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Stained Glass.
Speedy the Cat is on a Cupcake Diet this month....For some reason, he had decided I HAVE to use this stamp, and PRIMAS together...I keep finding assortments of flowers and this stamp under my bath mat! OMGosh! What if he is really asking me to make REAL cupcakes, and I'm too much of a DUH to figure it out until now??? LOL!
I stamped the image onto ACETATE with Noir Black Palette Hybrid ink. I waited about 2 minutes and flipped over the acetate. Next, I dumped a box of Hodge Podge Hardware and USED THE PLASTIC INSERT as a palette! I squirted various reinkers into the sections to figure out which ones would work best with the Primas chosen by Speedy the Cat...I decided to use the Real Red and Apricot Appeal.
I had a STIFF T-SHIRT painting brush that I used to mix in SMALL amounts of Crystal Effects into the various reinkers. I then "painted" in the areas.
While I let that dry....ABOUT AN HOUR!!! I cut a circle (smaller) in the center of the Via Red linen 3 1/2" square. I cut a scalloped circle (larger) out of the center of the designer paper- 3 3/4" square.
I used dimensionals to layer the two and lined up the center. I added dots to the Via Red Linen. I adhered the acetate to the BACK of the Red and added dimentionals! There is also a hole cut in the FRONT of the card base so that the white shows through...This is NOT needed, though, as the base is WHITE! LOL!
The bottom edges were cut with SU!'s new border punch!
