I'm happy to share! (kinda makes me wish I measured and wrote it down while I was messing with the paper...LOL!)
I used 12"x12" DP, so this will work with any pattern and colors. obviously.
For the body of the purse, I cut the 12"x12" in half so I had 12"x6".
I used Sticky Strip on one short edge, rolled the paper around, and stuck the short edges together to create a "tube".
The next part was really just fiddling around until I had a flat bottom that would stand. To get a basic bottom, I gently folded in the short sides, then long edges like I was wrapping the end of a gift. When I had what I wanted, I snipped in where the 4 seams ended up so I could fold and adhere the bottom flat.
I had to do some trimming and snipping in order to get the bottom to stand, and it came out okay, but not beautiful, so I added the scalloped strip around the bottom to make it look clean & finished.
The 4 tabs are just the Round Tab punch with the Slot Punch through it.
The handles are 1/2" x 11" card stock. I rounded the corners at each end, then slid them through the tab slots, folded them over & adhered the with brads.
The "snap" closure is a 1 1/8" x 3 1/2" strip. I pulled one end through the Tag Punch to get that shape on the front.
Then I punched a 1/2" Circle and put a brad through it to match the others.
It's smaller than it looks in the photo, but it will still hold a cute gift or door prize.
Thanks so much for asking! Happy purse-making!!
