Congratulation's Kim (Blondie 090277) on being this week's featured stamper... What a fabulous gallery you have, I sure enjoyed checking it out. " Hello from Nanaimo".....
I chose this card "Washed Ashore" Washed Ashore by blondie090277 at Splitcoaststampers
I did not have the sailboat stamp, but wanted to keep a nautical theme.
Stamped lighthouse image on watercolour paper twice. Water coloured image, cut out lighthouse and rocks from one and popped up over the other. Matted with blue bayou, white and river rock. added the silver brads. Main card is 5 x 5 white and blue bayou. I stamped script in blue bayou onto river rock, then stamped over it again with sanded bg in blue bayou, tore square in half.Sponged edges. Layer it over the dp. stitched around edges. Added the eyelets and string along the top. Stamped sentiment in blue bayou onto river rock. Punched out with 1" circle punch. Added the stylized silver hardware and anchor button.

Patricia, this is an INCREDIBLE card and such a wonderful case!!! The attention to detail is amazing! I love the twine wrapped through the eyelets and the anchor and hardware!! Absolutely beautifully done!!!!
