Hi! This card was made for today's Inspiration Challenge found here: (It's a place setting from O Magazine, owned by Oprah!) Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Speedy the Cat was at it again...I found my ANTIQUE pins under the bath mat and a baggie of Hodge Podge Hardware....I took his advice and used BOTH!
I came up with this Oriental Girl eons ago, while still playing with paper dolls. (My GREAT Grandmother had beautiful swatches of Oriental silk that she CUT UP for me to dress my little dolls. She thought I was genius to come up with such ideas at age 4! But, alas, I wasn't...My MOTHER showed me how to created "circle and square people" because I had such poor motor skills! The oriental girl was just another of my little people....)
I decided to go with silver accents, since the SILVERware was, ummm.....SILVER! LOL!
I stamped the bamboo around the white circle and colored it with markers. I stamped the image onto the Real Red triangle with VersaMark and embossed in Silver.
The Circles and Scallops were cut with Nestibilities in my Cuttlebug.
The Oriental girl was created with punches and scissors.
I added the silver rim with a paint pen...I don't recommend it. It CHIPS! grrrrrr...

Oh, Faith, what a masterpiece! I just love your little Asian girl. (I think I want sushi for dinner--yum!) This card is just exquisite. I'm going to show my husband so he'll be in the mood for sushi, too. (It worked!)
