I did this plaque using a stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms called Light of Peace (Thomas Kinkade). I stamped it onto cardstock and colored it with prismacolor pencils. Added some stickles to the wave splashes and the sun rays. I used mod podge to glue/seal it to the plaque and then painted the plaque around the picture with weathered wood distress crackle paint. Once dry I rubbed weathered wood distress ink over the cracks in spots for texture. Then with an embossing pen I highlighted the areas I wanted and gold embossed them. The brads were copper colored that I also embossed with gold to match and took the backs off before glueing them down.
more pics on my blog - a couple days back as I am catching up on my gallery here today. www.stampqueen.blogspot.com
