girl, oh, girl, Rox...I do hope I did my sketch correctly...I've given enough hours to it though it seems wonky to me! Thanks so much to everybody who filters new ideas for the SC...it is definitely THE challenge where I have grown the most as a card maker.
I think I made it more difficult for myself by using the scalloped edges...I know I'm a rebel with straight edges! Anyway...the main image is yet another chandelier (HEY AMY!!!) this one from Prima Marketing a clear stamp which I inked in TH di walnut stain and embossed with clear ep. The paper is MME 29th St Market Fresh 'Beauty' summer dream/Blue Sash Paper. I used the old faded wallpaper print behind the light and the reverse side for the later mat (it has been cuttled with the textile folder). My triangles are SU bayou blue scallops. I stamped "sparkle" using an unknown Matisse alpha and "shine" MM rummage magentic letters for the other. Again it was walnut stain ink. There are mats of SU chocolate chip and so saffron, GP white cs sponged with ChalkBox bisque. And a wild wasabi inked with SU floral bg in Adirondack meadow. The card base is so saffron. I added vintage pearl buttons from my Grandmothers button box.
I'm sending this card to my Mom, who has sparkled and shone all her life...and now at 74 still uses her talents for lovin' on people to 'tote' her elders to Doctors appointments, out to lunch, making hospital visits...all this for 80 and 90+ year olds! I love that about her...the seemingly small tasks that make a huge difference in the life of another! She's my bellwether...I'd love to hear who you consider to be that in YOUR life. Thanks in advance for your comments

Very pretty image, Joy. I like the vintage buttons too. Did you take the shanks off or leave them on. I like the dimension of them. Mom is blessed to have a daughter like you. Way to go to celebrate her virtuous qualities!

Perfectly composed down to the last detail as always, Susan! Your mother will surely love it! The chandelier stamp is fantastic! I think the scalloped edges on the triangles look terrific - very unique, as is your style! Love the antique buttons, too! Wonderful card!

gosh, what a wonderful lady your mum sounds ... she'll adore this. I'm having vintage button envy right now too! I don't think I could stick them onto a card. Worth it though, just gorgeous.
